This year we commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day - a pivotal moment in history marking the beginning of the end of World War II.

This is most likely the last major anniversary where the few surviving veterans are able to honour their D-Day comrades.

A select few coins have had the privilege of flying onboard an original WWII Dakota aircraft on a mission to Normandy, replicating the very journey made by thousands of Allied soldiers 80 years ago.
