Shooting Olympic 50p
The Shooting 50p coin was issued as part of a series of 29 Olympic 50ps in commemoration of London 2012, with each 50p featuring a different Olympic Sport.
Olympic shooting events are split into three categories; Shotgun, Pistol and Rifle. Britain claimed a single gold medal in the 2012 games.
The winning designer of the Shooting 50p was Pravin Dewdhory who drew inspiration for his design of the smashing glass from the graphics used in the London 2012 branding.
