Last chance to own the Diamond Jubilee Silver Coin

2012 was a special year across the Commonwealth as the Queen celebrated her Diamond Jubilee. To celebrate this huge milestone, the Royal Canadian Mint issued this special silver coin. The entire edition limit of 250,000 completely sold out.

Each coin has been struck from .9999 Silver - or "four nines" silver – the purest grade available.

The reverse image features a stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a maple leaf diamond brooch, hand-picked by her on her visit to Canada at age 25. This signifies her unique ability to connect with Commonwealth subjects across the world. The obverse image features the effigy of Her Majesty that first appeared on Canadian coinage in 1953, the year following her Coronation.
