2016 UK Team GB Circulation 50p
The UK has issued a new 50p coin to wish Team GB success in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this summer.
Struck by The Royal Mint, this coin will be popular with coin collectors and sports enthusiasts alike.
The reverse design depicts a swimmer with the Team GB logo, the Olympic rings and the inscription “TEAM GB”. The obverse features the fifth definitive portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
