You have the opportunity to own a complete set of all five types of Morgan Dollar.
What’s so special about these five?
Four of the five Morgan dollars carry tiny inscriptions on the reverse known as mintmarks. The mintmarks represent where your coins were struck: New Orleans (O), Denver (D), San Francisco (S) and Carson City (CC).
One of the coins was issued without a mintmark – this marks it out as a coin struck in Philadelphia.
But why are the Mintmark coins so important to collectors?
Through the use of historical records they allow us to work out just how rare each coin is. The Carson City coin (mintmark ‘CC’) is the most sought after, as we know it was only struck in 13 of the 43 years the Morgan Dollar was minted.
And when you consider that millions of these coins were melted down by the US Government for their silver content, it makes owning all five even harder. In fact, compiling a collection of coins from all five mints is something many collectors struggle to do even in the USA, let alone in the United Kingdom - where access to these coins is much more limited.
It has taken us a great deal of time and effort to assemble these coins into a set so you don’t have to do the hard work. But our stock is limited.
This means the sets are likely to sell out fast, so don’t miss out, order today and you can secure your Complete Morgan Dollar Mintmark Collection.
We'll despatch you a Deluxe Wooden Display Box absolutely FREE OF CHARGE so you can house your five coins in style.
It’s the perfect way to own one of the most sought after sets of coins in American history.
