Could this be the next British Commemorative Coin Cover to sell out?

The Royal Mint has released a new United Kingdom legal tender 1oz Silver Coin, issued to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Sheep.

With just 495 of these Silver Coins reserved for a Limited Edition UK Commemorative Cover, we are expecting this cover to sell out.  Here are the reasons why …

The 2015 Year of the Sheep Silver Coin Cover

At the heart of the cover sits the Lunar Year of the Sheep UK 2015 1oz Silver Coin struck by The Royal Mint. An impressive full ounce of fine Silver, this coin is a United Kingdom legal tender Lunar coin – and just the second in a series of lunar calendar coins struck annually to honour the Chinese Zodiac. The design traditionally features the Chinese Lunar animal for the new year, and to mark 2015 being the Year of the Sheep, Chinese-English artist Wuon-Gean Ho has created a striking design featuring two hardy Swaledale sheep.

Until last year a lunar coin had never been produced by The Royal Mint – they were mainly found overseas in the Far East. So this makes them even more collectable. And just 495 are reserved for this unique Silver Coin Cover – making it quite possibly the most limited way to own the new coin.

To further reflect the Chinese New Year celebrations, Royal Mail’s 1st Class ‘Firework’ stamp sits alongside a special customised label featuring a Chinese paper-cut illustration of a Sheep. This design is also echoed by the all-important one-day-only postmark which perfectly ties the stamps to this unique coin cover and carries the date of Chinese New Year 2015 – 19th February 2015.

Just 495 Collectors can own The 2015 Year of the Sheep Silver Coin Cover

Over the last few years Silver Coin Covers featuring British coins and stamps, have experienced a surge in demand – often selling out within a matter of weeks.  For example the First World War Centenary UK Silver Coin Cover sold out in just over four weeks.

And don’t forget, the stunning 2015 Year of the Sheep Silver Coin Cover has an edition limit of just 495 and comes housed in its own Luxury Presentation Folder, alongside a Certificate of Authenticity.

Ensure you don’t miss out owning the legal tender Lunar Year of the Sheep UK 2015 1oz Silver Coin in its most limited form – order your cover today.
