In fact, these 20 covers are set to be specially postmarked with the official 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord – 19th April 2025.
- King George III reigned as the monarch of Great Britain, while George Washington served as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army and went on to become the first President of the United States.
- The rare George III Silver Crown was one of the first coins to feature the iconic St George and the dragon design - first struck over 200 years ago in 1819, the year of Queen Victoria's birth
- Features the special edition US 1982 Silver Half Dollar - issued to commemorate the 250th anniversary of George Washington's birth
