2021 UK Plesiosaurus CERTIFIED BU 50p

Calling all fossil fanatics – the second coin in The Royal Mint’s 2021 Mary Anning Collection celebrating one of Britain’s greatest fossil hunters, is now available to order.

The new 50p coin features the Plesiosaurus – a type of marine reptile which coexisted with the dinosaurs and was discovered by Mary Anning in Dorset.

2021 UK Mary Anning 50p Collection

The 2021 United Kingdom Mary Anning 50p Collection follows in the footprints of the roaring success of the UK’s first ever dinosaur coins which were released last year.

A total of three terrific new coins will be released in this year’s series and the best news is you can now become one of the first collectors to own the Plesiosaurus 50p – the second coin in the series.

Excitingly, this series has been issued in collaboration with the Natural History Museum and based on the popularity of last year’s coins, demand is set to be very high.
