Gymnastics Olympic 50p

The Gymnastics 50p was issued as part of a series of 29 Olympic 50ps in commemoration of London 2012, with each 50p featuring a different Olympic Sport.

Gymnastics is one of the oldest Olympic sports and has always been a part of the ancient as well as modern Olympic Games. In 2012, team GB claimed bronze in the men's team gymnastics event - the first British medal in a team gymnastics event for 100
years.

The coin features a gymnast holding a ribbon.
