UK 2011 Edinburgh Circulation £1

During the lead up to October 2017 when the round pound coins ceased to be legal tender in the UK, there was a rush of change checkers desperately trying to complete their round pound collection.

The coin that frustrated all collectors for being the most difficult to find was the 2011 Edinburgh Round Pound

The coveted Edinburgh round pound was part of the cities series of £1 coins, which included four round pounds, each with a design of the capital city of each of the four constituent countries in the UK.

All are highly sought after, but the Edinburgh pound was the rarest £1 coin in circulation, as it had a low mintage of only 935,000.

The reverse of this round pound was designed by Stuart Devlin, goldsmith and jeweller to HRH the Queen, and features the circular Coat of Arms of Edinburgh to represent Scotland.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to secure this round £1 coin in circulation quality for your collection, order today.
