Brand new UK £5 coin is the rarest of them all...

Brand new UK £5 coin is the rarest of them all...

To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of The Royal Academy of Arts, The Royal Academy (RA) and The Royal Mint have collaborated to issue a BRAND NEW 2018 £5 coin.

The coin is available as a Silver Proof UK coin as standard, but The Royal Mint has also made another version.

This version has been struck to base metal specifications and has initially been made exclusively available to Change Checkers.

What's more, with a mintage of just 12,000, this is the rarest base metal UK £5 coin ever.

The reverse of this £5 coin has been designed by celebrated architect Sir David Chipperfield RA, and features the mid-19th century facade of Burlington House, home to the Royal Academy since 1867.

Own the coin today at the standard Change Checker Price for a UK Certified Brilliant Uncirculated £5 coin of just £10.99.
