This is the first time that Christopher Robin features on a UK coin, and it is the second coin in a classic 9-coin collection.
Created by A.A. Milne, and inspired by Milne's own son, Christopher Robin's vivid imagination allows him to adventure to The Hundred Acre Wood with Winnie the Pooh and his best-loved friends. He may be a child, but the other characters look up to him.
The nostalgic design by The Walt Disney Company is reminiscent of the classic illustrations by E.H. Shepard that feature in the novels, and as such is sure to be adored by fans and collectors of all ages.
