The 2016 Peter Rabbit 50p coin has been issued to celebrate one of Beatrix Potter's most loved animals and the first of Beatrix Potter's 23 children's tales, 'The tale of Peter Rabbit'.
Struck by The Royal Mint to an uncirculated quality, this is the second coin in a brand new 5-coin series and has already proved to be extremely popular with coin collectors.
The reverse design features Peter Rabbit while the obverse features the fifth definitive portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
