OVER 80% SOLD: The 2018 Representation of the People Act DateStamp™ 50p

** OVER 80% SOLD **

A United Kingdom 50p has been issued to mark the 100th Anniversary of the passing of the Representation of the People Act. The Representation of the People Act was passed in 1918 and granted the vote to servicemen over the age of 19, all men over the age of 21 and women over the age of 30 in the UK.

Thousands of Brilliant Uncirculated Representation of the People Act 50p coins have been struck, but JUST 500 will be officially postmarked by the Royal Mail with the date 06.02.2018 – the date, 100 years ago, on which the Representation of the People Act was passed.

Designed by Stephen Taylor, the reverse depicts a queue of people lining up to cast their votes at the ballot box. The obverse features Jody Clark's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

What’s more, each coin comes protectively sealed in a tamper-proof numismatic capsule with its own unique serial number so you can even register it online to receive your official DateStamp™ registration certificate.

Importantly, because of the special one-day-only postmark, no more will ever be made available. Don’t miss out, order yours today.
