Isle of Man Definitive Coin Set

This Isle of Man coin set includes eight definitive coins – from the 1p right up to the £2 – issued between 2004 and 2017.

Each coin features significant themes from the Isle of Man, such as:

• A Longboat to mark the Viking-era invasions
• Albert Tower which was built to commemorate the royal visit of Prince Albert
• A Manx Loagthan which is a rare breed of sheep native to the island

These coins are particularly sought-after due to the fact Isle of Man coinage typically has much lower mintage figures than the UK counterparts because of the island’s smaller population.

What's more, in 2024 the Isle of Man announced that they would start a 'phasing out' of 1p and 2p copper coins due to rising minting costs and a lack of demand. So this could be one of your last opportunities to get your hands on the 1p and 2p coins - before it's too late!
