Each of these coins features a piece of skinning material from the legendary Spitfire AB910 - an aircraft that flew crucial beachhead patrols during the D-Day landings. 

The design also features the iconic Spitfire and Dakota C-47, set against a detailed map of the Normandy beaches, capturing the historic events of June 6th, 1944.
