JUST 1,938 WORLDWIDE: UK 2025 HMS Belfast Silver Piedfort £2

Today, you can own a brand-new UK Silver Proof Piedfort £2 that has been issued in honour of the light-cruiser ship, HMS Belfast. The first 2025 dated UK £2 coin to be released!

HMS Belfast

Since its launch in 1939, HMS Belfast has been a vital part of Britain's naval defence, participating in missions from the Arctic convoys to the Korean War. It played a significant role in the Normandy Landings on June 6th, 1944, supporting soldiers on Gold and Juno beaches.

Double-thickness, Sterling Silver £2

And today, you can own a stunning coin, issued in partnership with the Imperial War Museum which honours this epic warship.

Struck from a double-thickness, sterling silver blank, with the addition of gold-plating Piedfort coins are saved for only the most important of Royal Mint releases. They require expert craftsmanship and time due to their weight, hence the extremely low edition limit of just 1,938.

Almost twice as limited as the standard Silver Proof edition, that means demand will likely outdo supply.

Unique Edge Inscription

The coin also features a completely unique edge inscription, the ships motto in Latin.

‘PRO · TANTO · QVID · RETRIBVAMVS’ translated into English means ‘What shall we give in return for so much?’.

Time is of the essence to secure this unique coin, before its sell-out.
