FULLY RESERVED AT THE MINT: The UK 2025 Gold Proof Sovereign

The Royal Mint have issued the brand-new UK Gold Proof Sovereign for 2025.

As the most limited Sovereign to be released in over a decade, it's already fully reserved at The Royal Mint.

Not only is it extremely limited, but the UK 2025 Sovereign also features a unique one-year-only design change to honour the 200th anniversary of the first shield back Sovereign design.

  • Struck to the same exacting standards as collectors have grown to love, the 2025 Sovereign has been struck from 22 carat gold to a spectacular Proof finish.
  • The design features Jean Baptiste Merlen’s Shield of the Royal Arms design which first appeared on the Sovereign in 1825.
  • Includes Martin Jennings portrait of King Charles III on the obverse.
  • This will also be the last ‘rose-gold’ Sovereign to be issued by the Mint, meaning it will be extremely collectable in years to come.
  • JUST 5,000 were authorised for release worldwide and the edition limit has now been fully reserved.

There are so many reasons that this coin deserves a place in your collection and as such, stock is limited.
