Life Span: 10 - 12 years

Habitat: In and around the pond during the breeding season. Sometimes in the woodland area and other damps areas in the garden. Also in parks, scrubby areas, woods and fields, ditches, lakes and slow-moving rivers.

Diet: Insect larvae, spiders, slugs and worms. Larger toads may take slow worms, small grass snakes and harvest mice

Other interesting facts: Toads do not have teeth, so they do not chew their food, instead swallowing it whole.
