D-Day 80th Anniversary Flown & Parachuted Commemoratives

Some of the incredible coins and commemoratives released to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day have taken a special trip of their own. Some have flown over the English channel to Carentan in Normandy on a Douglas C-47 Skytrain whilst others have even been carried by a team of ex-military parachutists re-enacting the jumps made by thousands of allied soldiers on D-Day.
